Contract Handyman in Faro


We are hiring a skilled Handyman to join our team on a contract basis in Faro. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of various hand and power tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience in the field or who prefers contract work. Must have own visa and be able to work independently. Freshers with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply. Salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Inspect facilities for any issues or damages and report findings to supervisor
- Troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects when needed
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Own visa/permit for working in Faro
