Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant



As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the hotel. This includes guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and change linens as needed
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and countertops
- Replace amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Stock housekeeping carts with supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in public spaces such as hallways, lobby, and restrooms
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
