Loader Operator (Lisbon, Portugal)



As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to load materials onto trucks or other forms of transportation. Your main duties will include operating front-end loaders, performing safety inspections on equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate front-end loader to move materials such as dirt, gravel, rocks, and sand onto trucks or other forms of transportation
- Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to supervisor
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain a clean work area by removing debris and ensuring equipment is properly stored
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient loading operations
- Report any incidents or damages immediately to supervisor
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating front-end loaders in a construction or similar environment
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals for equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures at all times
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
