We are searching for an experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for preserving the historical and cultural integrity of buildings and structures. Your main objective will be to ensure that architectural features and materials are maintained and preserved in a way that respects their original design.

As a Preservation Architect, you must have a strong understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques. You must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. It is preferred that you have experience working with historical buildings or structures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history of buildings and structures
- Evaluate the condition of architectural features and materials
- Develop preservation plans that respect the original design
- Collaborate with construction teams to implement preservation plans
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines for historical preservation
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders about project updates and recommendations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with historical buildings or structures is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Valid visa and ability to relocate to Porto, Portugal if not currently residing there

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500 USD per month.
