Junior Architectural Technologist

As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will work under the supervision of experienced architects and technical staff to assist in the design and production of architectural drawings and documents. Your main responsibility will be to support the team in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with building codes, regulations, and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Use CAD software to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that drawings meet project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for drawing production.
- Help maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with building codes, regulations, and construction practices.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Revit).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Location: This is a contract position based in Almada.

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience).
