Information Technology Manager (Contract)
Location: Lisbon, Portugal



The Information Technology (IT) Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's IT department. This is a contract position, with the potential for extension based on performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of IT professionals and possess strong technical skills. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is able to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals in day-to-day operations
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support business objectives
- Oversee the maintenance and security of all computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Monitor budget and expenses related to IT department

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT managerial role
- Strong technical knowledge including hardware, software, networks, security, etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT strategies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

We offer competitive salary packages starting at 1500$, based on qualifications. This position is open to candidates with their own visa or work permit for Portugal.
