Experienced Fitter in Porto

Our company is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team in Porto. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, using hand and power tools, and ensuring that all work is completed according to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of mechanical systems
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials such as pipes, tubes, and sheet metal
- Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes according to specifications
- Install various mechanical systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, and hydraulic systems
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand tools and power tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in a similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, levels etc.
- Working knowledge of welding techniques is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces if needed
- Valid driver's license is preferred

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month.
