Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of instruments used in various industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy and proper functioning.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify technical issues and find solutions.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any potential problems or improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies while performing tasks.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in a similar role.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in instrumentation or related field.
- Strong understanding of various types of instruments used in industrial settings.
- Experience in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with process control systems such as PLCs or DCSs.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
