Executive Chef - Egyptian and Nepali Cuisine (Contract)

As an Executive Chef specializing in Egyptian and Nepali cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations at our restaurant in Ar Rumaythiyah. You will utilize your expertise in these unique culinary styles to create delicious and authentic dishes, while also managing and leading a team of kitchen staff. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase the flavors and techniques of Egyptian and Nepali cuisine
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Egyptian or Nepali cuisine
- Stay updated on current food trends and make adjustments to menu offerings as needed

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as an Executive Chef, preferably with a focus on Egyptian or Nepali cuisine
- Proven ability to lead a team and maintain high standards of quality control
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic or Nepali is a plus)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ar Rumaythiyah
