Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of web applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient and secure APIs, optimizing database queries, and implementing data storage solutions. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging issues in collaboration with other team members.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Experience with server-side languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
- Familiarity with front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of web security principles
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Designing robust and scalable back-end components for web applications

Salary: This is a contract position paying $1300 per month.

Location: This position is located in Funchal, Portugal. Portuguese nationality is preferred but not required.

Note: This job can be performed remotely from anywhere within Portugal. Some occasional on-site meetings may be required.
