We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, as well as integrating front-end elements into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement efficient data storage solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code base
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with web services (RESTful or SOAP)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Funchal, Portugal. However, we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
