Librarian - Faisalabad, Pakistan



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team at our library in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials, as well as assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of materials, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding out outdated materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries, providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Plan and conduct educational programs and events for library patrons of all ages
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to promote the library's services
- Stay updated on current trends in literature and recommend new acquisitions for the library's collection
- Train and supervise library staff members and volunteers
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Proficient in using technology for cataloging and managing electronic resources
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Must have own visa for employment in Pakistan
