Contract Interpreter in Lahore

As a contract interpreter in Lahore, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your main role will be to accurately interpret spoken messages from one language to another in a variety of settings, such as business meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. You must have prior experience as an interpreter and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the language(s) you will be interpreting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services in various settings, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and video conferences.
- Ensure that the meaning and tone of the original message is conveyed accurately in the target language.
- Research and become familiar with specialized terminology related to the industries/fields you will be interpreting for.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Adapt to different speaking styles, accents, and cultural differences while interpreting.
- Assist with any necessary paperwork or documentation related to interpretation services.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an interpreter.
- Fluent in both English and the target language(s).
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information accurately.
- Excellent listening and note-taking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology is preferred.
- Must be able to provide references or certifications as proof of prior interpretation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in interpretation or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized interpreting association or program.

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This is a contract position based in Lahore. Accommodation may be provided depending on availability. Visa sponsorship may also be available for qualified candidates.
