Blast Furnace Operator

As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnace equipment to produce iron or steel. Your main duties will include monitoring and adjusting furnace temperatures, controlling the flow of materials into the furnace, and ensuring the safe operation of all equipment. You will also be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on the blast furnace, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least 2 years of experience working in a blast furnace environment. Strong mechanical skills are essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Additionally, you should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work effectively under pressure.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot and noisy environment. You must also be comfortable with working at heights and wearing personal protective equipment. As part of our team, you will be expected to follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

We offer competitive pay starting at $1400 per month along with benefits such as accommodation and visa sponsorship. This is a full-time position based in Zagreb, Croatia.
