IT Support Specialist

We are hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Shan, Africa. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, hardware, and software. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our network infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in computer systems and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Ensure the security of all systems by implementing necessary security measures
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities
- Train users on new systems and technologies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to improve system performance and efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Shan, Africa

Contract job: This is a full-time contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.
