Electrician for Contract Job in Salalah, Oman

A reputable construction company in Salalah, Oman is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a contract basis. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in various residential and commercial buildings. This position is open to Indian nationals with a valid work permit and fluent English language skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment according to local codes and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as plumbers and carpenters to complete projects
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine layout of electrical wiring
- Ensure all work is completed within designated timelines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a construction or maintenance setting
- Valid work permit for Oman (preferably Indian nationality)
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
