Moderator - Contract Position in Almada, Portugal



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Moderator to join our team on a contract basis in Almada. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing online communities, forums, and social media platforms. Your main duties will include monitoring user activity, responding to comments and messages, moderating content, and enforcing community guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user activity and ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Respond to comments and messages from users in a timely and professional manner
- Moderate content posted by users to ensure it meets community standards
- Enforce community guidelines by issuing warnings or taking appropriate action against violators
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and address them appropriately
- Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for community growth and engagement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for community management

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Moderator or Community Manager
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Strong understanding of online communities, forum moderation, and social media platforms
- Proven ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Available for flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 900$ per month.
