Crane operator vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Crane Operator

As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes in a safe and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures are followed and that the crane is used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Perform pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure safe operation
- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles using the crane
- Maneuver the crane into position according to signals from ground crew or other operators
- Inspect and maintain the crane on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning
- Report any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor immediately
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and hours worked
- Train new operators on proper use of the crane

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Valid certification for operating various types of cranes
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operation
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Ability to understand signals from ground crew or other operators

Preferred:
- Experience working in construction or industrial environments
- Familiarity with different types of cranes

Salary: 1600$

Location: Al-Khor, Qatar.
