Junior Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and systems infrastructure. This is an entry-level position with plenty of growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Maintain network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Troubleshoot system hardware and software issues
- Install and maintain software updates on servers and workstations
- Monitor system backups to ensure data integrity
- Provide technical support to end users as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Experience with network administration, including knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, etc.
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
