Mason - Nizwa, Oman

We are hiring skilled and reliable Masons to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials, mixing mortar or cement, and laying out patterns for walls or floors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and equipment used in masonry work.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or other specifications to determine the type of materials needed
- Measure and cut bricks or other materials to fit specific spaces
- Mix mortar or cement according to ratios specified in the plans
- Lay out patterns for walls or floors using plumb lines or chalk lines
- Set bricks or stones in place using mortar or cement
- Smooth out joints between stones using trowels or jointers
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, blocks, or stones as needed
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason working with various construction materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, stones etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with different types of tools used in masonry work
- Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision when laying out patterns and setting stones in place

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)

Please note: This job is open to candidates of any nationality who are currently residing in Nizwa with their own visa. English language skills are not required for this position. No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
