We are in search of a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position and we welcome candidates with previous cashier experience. We also offer opportunities for students with own visa to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform daily cash reconciliations
- Ensure pricing is correct on items and handle price adjustments if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer any customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cashier is preferred
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
