Cashier - Part Time (Muharraq, Bahrain)


We are hiring a part-time Cashier for our busy retail store located in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position is suitable for men without previous experience and does not include accommodation. You will work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and accurately process their purchases at the register
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or store policies
- Ensure pricing accuracy by scanning items correctly and applying discounts or promotions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic cash registers
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
