Computer Support Specialist
As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in the city of Faro. Your main role will be to troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and network issues for our customers. You will work closely with our team of IT professionals to ensure that all technical issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by clients.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
- Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to improve system efficiency.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems (7/8/10).
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
