Blast Furnace Operator


A reputable steel manufacturing company in Pula is seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to produce molten iron or steel. You will also be responsible for monitoring the furnace temperature, adjusting the controls, and inspecting equipment for any malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain blast furnaces to produce molten iron or steel
- Monitor furnace temperature and adjust controls accordingly
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions and report issues to maintenance team
- Load materials into the furnace and ensure proper mixing and melting
- Keep accurate records of production levels, temperatures, and other data
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Blast Furnace Operator in a steel manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of furnace operations, including temperature control and material loading
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating production data
- Physically fit to work in a high heat environment while wearing protective gear

Salary:
$1400 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Pula. Free visa sponsorship and air ticket will be provided for foreign candidates.
