Driver (Svalbard)


We are currently hiring a skilled Driver to join our team in Svalbard. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and/or passengers to their designated locations. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of vehicles such as cars, trucks, or vans to transport goods and/or passengers.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Plan and map out efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure proper functioning.
- Communicate any delays, issues, or accidents to appropriate parties.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license for the specific vehicle being operated.
- At least 2 years of experience as a professional driver.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes in Svalbard.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when loading/unloading goods.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus).
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or violations.
