Experienced Driver in Svalbard


We are in need of an experienced driver to join our team in Svalbard. As a driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our company vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Plan and follow the most efficient route to reach destinations
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel
- Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure their proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and trip logs
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role or industry
- Valid driver's license for the country of employment (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures preferred

Work Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Svalbard. Accommodation will not be provided, but we can assist with finding suitable housing. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
