DevOps Developer - Contract Position in Os, Norway


We are hiring a skilled DevOps Developer for a contract position in Os, Norway. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and systems. Your primary focus will be on automating and streamlining our software delivery processes to support our agile development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated systems for build, test, deployment, and monitoring of software applications
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and implement necessary automation tools
- Troubleshoot issues with application deployment and resolve them in a timely manner
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to ensure high availability and scalability
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency of software delivery
- Stay updated with latest trends and technologies in DevOps practices and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
