Executive Chef - Al-Rayyan, Qatar



We are a prestigious hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and possess excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement creative and high-quality menus in line with current food trends and guest preferences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts, training new hires, and providing ongoing guidance and support
- Maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate special events and catering services
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Proven ability to create innovative menus that appeal to a diverse clientele
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid visa or be eligible for visa sponsorship in Qatar

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
