Handyman for Maintenance and Repairs

As a Handyman for Maintenance and Repairs in Triesen, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of various properties. Your main duties will include performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaky faucets, painting walls, and replacing light fixtures. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of common areas, such as hallways and lobbies.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of basic maintenance tasks and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. You should also have experience working with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and follow instructions for repair manuals. Additionally, you should be physically fit to handle the demands of this job.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor plumbing issues
- Complete repairs on various fixtures and appliances, such as doors, windows, and kitchen appliances
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas by sweeping floors, dusting surfaces, and removing trash
- Keep an organized inventory of tools and supplies to ensure efficient work flow
- Communicate with property managers or supervisors to report any major issues or necessary repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling tools and performing repairs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, electrical systems, plumbing systems, etc.
- Ability to read repair manuals and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
