Part-Time Moderator for Online Forum in Oslo, Norway


We are in search of a proactive and dedicated Part-Time Moderator to join our growing online forum community based in Oslo, Norway. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our forum remains a positive and welcoming space for all users.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content on the forum to ensure it aligns with our community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and reports promptly and professionally
- Engage with users to foster a sense of community and address any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement new policies and procedures for the forum
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for online moderation

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)
- Proven experience as a moderator or similar role is an asset but not required
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong understanding of internet culture and familiarity with various social media platforms
- Must have own visa/work permit for employment in Norway
- Available to work part-time hours, including evenings/weekends if needed

Salary:
This is a part-time position offering 1700$ per month. Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
