Crane Operator in Eldoret, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy objects such as construction materials, machinery, and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect and maintain the crane before and after each use
- Determine load capacities and make necessary adjustments for safe lifting
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
- Rig and secure loads to be lifted
- Maneuver the crane into position for lifting or moving objects
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operation
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Ability to read load charts, blueprints, and diagrams
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to crane operation
- Good communication skills in English
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$, without accommodation. This position is open to Canadian nationals or those legally authorized to work in Canada. Freshers who possess the required skills and certifications are also encouraged to apply.
