Contract Electrician

A well-established electrical company in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Electrician to join our team. We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the beautiful arctic region.

As a Contract Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field and possess strong technical skills and knowledge of local electrical codes.

This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. Accommodation is not provided, so we are looking for candidates who are able to arrange their own housing in Svalbard. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and appliances
- Diagnose electrical problems and perform troubleshooting to identify solutions
- Adhere to local safety regulations and codes while working
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrician
- Valid electrician license or certification preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of local electrical codes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces
