We are in need of an Entry-Level Typesetter to join our publishing team in Almada. This is an urgent job opportunity and we are willing to provide accommodation for the right candidate.

As an Entry-Level Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. You will work closely with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure that all materials are visually appealing and error-free. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Format and arrange text and images according to established style guidelines
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency of materials
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from team members
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new software/tools related to typesetting

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with typesetting principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Flexible schedule as some projects may require working evenings or weekends
