Entry-Level Typesetter


We are in need of a talented and detail-oriented Entry-Level Typesetter to join our team in Almada. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications such as books, magazines, and websites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately typeset text using industry-standard software
- Format images and graphics to complement text layout
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final product
- Proofread final layouts for errors and make necessary corrections
- Maintain consistency in design elements throughout various projects
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members from different departments
- Portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work is a plus
