Instrument Technician
We are in need of an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments and equipment used in our operations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and identifying issues with instruments, as well as recommending solutions to improve their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on various instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for instruments
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify areas for improvement in instrument performance
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and test equipment related to instrumentation
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and functions
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree or certification in instrumentation or a related field is preferred.
Working Conditions:
This position may require working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Some tasks may require climbing ladders or working at heights. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
