Pastry Chef at Clairvaux, France
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Clairvaux, France. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries for our guests. Your role will also involve developing new menu items, maintaining high hygiene standards, managing inventory and ordering supplies.
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as a Pastry Chef and possess strong knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients. You should have excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation meets high-quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Train junior staff members on proper techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan menus for special events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
