Architectural Preservation Specialist


We are seeking an experienced Architectural Preservation Specialist to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural history and techniques, as well as strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history of buildings and structures in Beer-Sheva
- Assessing the condition of historic structures and developing preservation plans
- Obtaining necessary permits for restoration projects
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop restoration plans
- Overseeing the execution of restoration projects and ensuring adherence to historic preservation standards
- Conducting periodic inspections to assess the ongoing condition of restored structures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in architectural preservation, preferably in a city with a rich history
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Experience obtaining permits for restoration projects is preferred
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hebrew is a plus)
- Must be willing to relocate to Beer-Sheva

Salary: 1000$ per month

This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Pakistanis due to their experience with architectural preservation. English-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Applicants without prior experience will also be considered.
