Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst in St. Petersburg, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive information and overseeing the implementation of security measures. You will work closely with other IT professionals to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks. You will also monitor systems for any potential threats, investigate security breaches, and recommend solutions to strengthen the overall security posture.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor systems for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems
- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and industry best practices in information security
- Conduct training sessions for employees on how to properly handle sensitive data
- Manage access controls for various systems and applications
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and follow incident response protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, encryption technologies, and other security tools
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) preferred
