Part-Time Carpenter
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures such as buildings, furniture, and cabinets. We are seeking someone with prior experience in carpentry and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or building plans
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, etc.
- Use various tools such as saws, drills, sanders to complete projects
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Follow safety procedures when using equipment and working at heights

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or building plans
- Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Biometric passport (preferred)

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
