Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Lom, working in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries and desserts that meet the high standards of our customers. You must have a passion for baking and be able to work efficiently under pressure. This position requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as glazing, icing, piping, etc.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items
- Train junior pastry chefs on various techniques and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or relevant field preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Good understanding of food hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in pastry decoration
- Excellent time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Requirements:
For Pakistani candidates: Fluent in Urdu or Punjabi
For Egyptian candidates: Fluent in Arabic
For non-native English speakers: Intermediate level English
