Database Administrator



We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform backups and recovery when needed
- Ensure data security and implement access controls
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement database solutions
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferences:
- Experience working with large databases in a production environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Java, or Python
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
