Job Title: Contract Teacher in Almada, Portugal

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to join our team in Almada, Portugal on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a specific subject area. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers and create engaging lesson plans to enhance learning.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Adhere to school policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum development
- Fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Valid work visa for Portugal (visa sponsorship available)
