Glazier - Window and Glass Installer

We are in need of a skilled Glazier to join our team in Wiltz, Canada. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing windows and other glass products in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work at heights. The ideal candidate will have experience in glazing, cutting, and installing glass as well as knowledge of different types of glass and window frames. You must also be able to read blueprints and follow safety procedures at all times. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per week. Accommodation is not provided, so preference will be given to candidates who already live in Wiltz or are willing to relocate on their own. Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific openings
- Install glass panels into frames using various techniques
- Secure glass using putty, rubber gaskets, or metal clips
- Seal joints around the edges of the glass with sealants
- Repair or replace damaged glass or frames
- Read blueprints and specifications for installation requirements
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a glazier or similar role
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and cutting glass accurately
- Physical strength for lifting heavy objects and working at heights
- Knowledge of different types of glass, window frames, and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid biometric passport
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
