Warehouse Supervisor

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and management, as well as excellent leadership skills. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities in our warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers and ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Manage a team of warehouse workers, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and increase productivity
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for warehouse staff

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to warehousing activities
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Salary: $1200/month
