Welder - Al-Malikiyah, Syria
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together, ensuring the structural integrity of the final product. Your main duty will be to read and interpret technical drawings, select appropriate materials, and use various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to complete projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Select appropriate welding method and materials based on project requirements
- Operate specialized equipment such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Monitor welding process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Identify any defects or imperfections in welds and make necessary repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working with hazardous materials
- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification in welding is a plus
- Proven experience as a Welder (minimum of 2 years)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to use specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
