Job Title: Excavator Operator


As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials on construction sites. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavator according to safety regulations and company policies
- Excavate and move materials such as earth, rock, gravel, and other materials as directed by the construction team
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the public

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid operator's license/certification for excavator operation
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for heavy machinery operation
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans is preferred but not required
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
