Moderator for International Online Community



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Moderator to join our international online community team in Herzliya, Israel. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online platform by monitoring user-generated content and enforcing community guidelines. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content such as posts, comments, and messages to ensure they adhere to community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other moderators to identify and address potential issues within the community
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the community's interests, concerns, and needs
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the community management team

Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an online moderator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Preference will be given to Indian candidates who have experience moderating English-speaking communities. Accommodation can be provided for those who require it.
