Smelter Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Bungoma. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting equipment to produce high-quality metal alloys. You will also be responsible for monitoring production processes, adjusting controls as needed, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in smelting and a strong understanding of metallurgy. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Accommodation and attractive salary of 1300$ will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to established procedures.
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality control.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in smelting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgy principles.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating specific types of smelting equipment.
- Technical degree or certification in metallurgy or related field.
