Milling Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Nairobi. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Your role will also involve setting up machines, adjusting settings, monitoring machine performance, and performing quality checks.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing or similar environment. They must have strong technical skills and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with CNC milling machines is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Set up machines by loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, and adjusting settings
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot issues with the machine or production process as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with CNC milling machines preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
