Job Title: Senior Accountant


Our company in Manama is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and supervising junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation
- Oversee month-end close process and reconciliation of accounts
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in a senior role
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP principles and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
